2023 Providence Hearts of Gold Winners
Providence Health System hosts the Hearts of Gold Celebration each year to honor two exceptional individuals, a community member and health care professional, who through their advocacy work, have made a commitment to excellence in building a healthier community in the Columbia River Gorge.
We would like to recognize One Community Health primary care providers Drs. Orlando Acosta and Connie Serra, who were honored as the 2023 Providence Hearts of Gold winners. Dr. Serra has been with One Community Health for 22 years and is the Associate Program Director of the Providence Hood River Family Medicine Residency Program as well as a faculty member and resident advisor. Dr. Orlando Acosta has also been with One Community Health for 28 years. He has delivered hundreds of babies and was one of the on-call C-section specialists for Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital.
