I was born and raised in Vietnam and have been an Oregonian since 1992. I completed my science and biology undergraduate degrees at Portland State University, Oregon. I then attended the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry, where I earned a full-ride scholarship for my Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
Favorite activities:
Prior to dentistry, I was an electronics SMT (surface mount technology) specialist, a professional photographer, a cook, and a small business owner. I enjoy practicing evidence-based dentistry with a focus on prevention of oral disease, patient comfort, and quality of care. As a public health clinician, I feel honored and humbled to have the opportunity to provide quality oral care to people who live in communities where access to dental care is limited. In my spare time, I listen to smooth jazz, take walks in the woods, and capture the beauty of nature through the lens of my camera.
