Education/Background: Dr. Veltri was born and raised in sunny South Florida where they grew up playing soccer and learning Spanish. They graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral & Integrative Neuroscience from the University of Florida. After college, they received a scholarship to attend Somos Hermanos, a cultural and language immersion program in the highlands of Guatemala, with a focus on rural maternal & child health. They then attended The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences to earn their Doctor of Medicine with a scholarly concentration in Integrative Medicine. Dr. Veltri completed their residency with the University of Washington at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA and Columbia Valley Community Health in Chelan, WA. They serve as faculty in our rural residency program and enjoy working with the next generation of family medicine physicians to offer health care for all.
