Salud Diabetes Clinic at Celilo Village | WY-KAN-USH-PUM Mobile Medical Clinic

One Community Health’s mobile clinic, named “Wy-Kan-Ush-Pum (Salmon People)” and the Salud Diabetes Care Team, brings affordable and inclusive health care to meet the unique needs of Native People living along the Columbia River and outlying communities.

  • Health insurance enrollment

  • Chronic disease health screenings (blood pressure, blood sugar)

  • Diabetes screening and education

  • A1c check

  • Pre-diabetes education

  • Appointments with a medical provider

  • Diabetes medication support

  • Distribution of masks, hand-sanitizer, cleaning supplies, food, personal hygiene products, and clothing

  • Our mobile medical team is also equipped with telehealth technology to connect tribal community members with other healthcare providers at any of our primary health centers including medical providers, registered nurses, dentists, and behavioral health providers.
