NorthShore Medical Group staff announce the expansion of work injuries services

White Salmon, WA, March 21, 2019: NorthShore Medical Group (NSMG), a community-based practice serving all of the residents of the Columbia River Gorge region, is pleased to announce Dr. Margot Bolstad as our new specialist of Occupational medicine. 

Occupational medicine (also known as “occupational health”) is focused on the treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses. Physicians trained in occupational medicine have specialized experience regarding work-related injuries. They’re up-to-date on the latest federal and state regulations for workforce health and safety. Occupational medicine physicians also often work directly with employers to keep businesses running safely and to keep their employees protected and healthy on the job.

Dr. Margot Bolstad brings over 30 years of clinical experience, treating workers’ injuries and helping patients throughout the workers’ compensation or Labor & Industries claim process. She has a special interest in helping the injured worker, and enjoys advocating for her patients in today’s complex health care system. Dr. Bolstad is excited to be offering specialized occupational medicine services at NorthShore in White Salmon.
