Education/Background: Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Portland State University. Lisa is bilingual and bicultural and growing up lived in Mexico and the U.S. Lisa has a trauma-informed and social justice approach, inspired by her family’s experience immigrating to the U.S. and navigating the U.S. healthcare system. Lisa recently finished her practicum at Portland State University’s Center for Student Health and Counseling, where she served a diverse community of LGBTQ+ students, international students, and students of immigrant families.
