Education/Background: Alina grew up in a small town in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and moved to Oregon in 2017 to attend Pacific Universities Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene program. She holds a prior bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. During dental hygiene school she pursued several volunteer opportunities including Give Kids a Smile, Project Homeless, and attended a dental service trip to Jamaica to provide dental sealants to children in rural areas. Her career in dental hygiene has been focused almost entirely in public health, providing quality care and oral health education to those with limited access to care.
